The Power of the Same Day Edit

In the past month we have booked 3 Same Day Edits and have been discussing with couples the power of the Same Day Edit.  So what is a Same Day Edit?  We have intentionally simplified the title of this production, it is just that, a piece that we edit the day of your wedding to be shown at your reception to all of your guests.  Yes we get great responses from couples once they have viewed their final wedding movie, but it is hard to explain the power of watching your wedding day unfold before your eyes, even before the day is over.  It comes at a time in the day where it hits you how fast everything flew by and you are surrounded by the people in your life who mean the most to you.  At this time you sit back and watch your wedding day unfold (much of it you never saw) and that is when you see the power of the Same Day Edit.

So if you have not yet caught on to the power of the Same Day Edit, there is no better way to understand than to watch one unfold.  Below is some footage of Chris & Erin watching their same day edit unfold at their reception.  Some of what they were watching happened literally minutes before they watched it.  See what all of the buzz is about.

Why We Do What We Do

Why we do what we do.... yes we get to be a part of one of the happiest days of a couples' life, yes we get to attend some amazing wedding receptions each weekend, and yes we get to create a wedding movie that will be watched again and again for generations to come.  Along with all of that we hear back from couples who understand the power of video and appreciate the investment they put into their wedding video. We recently read a survey that revealed that 98% of surveyed newlyweds recommend that brides have their weddings video taped. Prior to their wedding only 50% of them even considered it on their top 10 list for their wedding. This statistic shows that most couples don't appreciate the true importance of their wedding video until after their wedding. In your planning for one of the most significant days of your life, give careful thought how you will preserve the events and memories of that day.

YOU GUYS ROCK!!! We don't even know how to start to thank you for all the hard work you put into our wedding video. You were able to capture every precious moment of our day! You may recognize this couple from a previous post. You could tell how much they truly loved and cherished each other. Chris and Erin's Story

We just returned from Chris & Erin's wedding and it was beautiful as expected. They added a very personal touch to their wedding reception, their story. They shared their story through a video presentation. The story consisted of a Photo Montage (covering the growing-up and dating years), Love Story (which was a romantic piece about how they first met, proposed, and their hopes for the future), and Same Day Reflection (which was a highlight piece of their wedding day shown at their reception, edited on site by Amanda). The same day reflection truely demonstrated the power of video and its ability to connect you to the emotions and feelings from the day. Sit back and enjoy Chris and Erin's story just as the hundreds did at their wedding reception.
