What's New for 2008

We have been talking to a lot of couples lately about what is new for 2008.  You will be hearing more about these as the year goes on, but I thought I would list a few things to look forward to in 2008.

1. High Definition - All CP productions will be shot in HD.  We started mid-2007, were blown away with the quality, and never turned back.
2. More Wedding Trailers - If you would like to see a sneak peek of your wedding day a few days after your wedding and be able to share it immediately with friends and family, especially those who couldn't make it, talk to us about adding a Wedding Trailer to your package.
3. Trash the Dress - You'll either love it or put knots in your stomach. We have found that trash the dress means different things to different people, but no matter what the interpretation, it creates a memorable video.....stay tuned for more.
4. Bridal Elegance Video - A much more elegant version of Trash the Dress with no trash dressing.
5. iPhone/iPod Touch Video - We have always put video on any portable device.  With the ground breaking iPhone & iPod, it gives us an even more beautiful way to show off your wedding day.
6. A Day in the Life... Video - We started promoting these at the end of 2007 and they have taken off.  Needless to say you will see more of them in 2008.

Our First HD Clients!

As many of you know we will be offing HD in 2008.  Well this past weekend we had our first HD clients and they were our best ever!  7 years ago when we started Captured Productions, I promised Renee' that I would always create videos for our kids.  Well promise kept....  With Lindsey's birthday coming up this October and Ethan's in November we went out and shot their Birthday videos and can't wait until their release.

I have been a big fan of HD, but creating our kids video in HD is absolutely amazing....I'm sold...and never looking back.  In the words of Ethan watching the raw footage, "Awesome...HD!"  I kept from saying, "...when I was your age..."  Be looking for the release of these amazing kids' birthday videos.  If you haven't seen Jordan's 5 year old video it can be seen here, which has had 127 views since June.   If you haven't seen the outtakes they are a must see here.

The Value of High Definition

You won't find us touting our latest cameras, equipment, gadgets, or microphones. It all comes down to having the best equipment to tell your wedding day story, focusing on content more than equipment.  HD is more than the latest technology, the image quality is stunning.  Without getting into the details HD content has 6 times the resolution for your wedding movie.  The best way to demonstrate this we have posted a comparison of Standard Definition (SD) versus High Definition (HD).  All of our wedding movies in 2008 will be shot in amazing HD quality.  Ask about HD for your 2007 wedding.

Captured Productions HD Coming in 2008!

What can be better than high quality digital video...high definition of course.  We are excited to announce that Captured Productions will be offering High Definition Wedding Movies in 2008!  Those of you who have worked with us know that we don't try to sell technology or equipment, but sell you on the final product and allow us to worry about what technology is needed to create an amazing wedding video to tell your story.  HD is the next step in doing this.  The results are absolutely amazing!  Continue to watch our blog for updates on this exciting new release.
